Etymologie

Benannt nach dem Mekong-Flussdelta in Viêt Nam, wo diese endemisch zu sein scheint. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)

Unteres Mekong-Einzugsgebiet, südliches Kambodscha und Vietnam.
