Etymologie
Benannt zu Ehren von Robert-Philippe Dollfus (1887-1976), Ichthyologe und Parasitologe, der das Typusexemplar sammelte.
Verbreitung
Rotes Meer (endemisch im Golf von Suez). Gefunden auf Sandboden in 25-30 m Tiefe.
