Etymologie
Quadri- (= vierfach); lineatus (= liniert), bezieht sich auf zwei Seitenlinien auf der Augenseite und zwei auf der blinden Seite. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)

Weit verbreitet im Roten Meer und im Indo-Westpazifik.
