Etymologie
Von Ikan Tambujon, Sundanesischer Name für diesen Grundel in Java, Indonesien, der Typuslokalität (Ikan = Fisch).
Verbreitung
Asien und Ozeanien: Andamanen, Philippinen, Indonesien, Mikronesien (Palau) und Neuguinea. Möglicherweise gehört zu dieser Art ein Fund von den Salomonen. Die Aufzeichnung aus Neukaledonien wurde noch nicht verifiziert. Berichtet aus Australien, Fidschi und Singapur.
IUCN Status
LC Least Concern (nicht gefährdet) Mögliche Gefahren für diese Art: Diese Art ist weit verbreitet und es sind keine größeren Bedrohungen bekannt. Da die Art jedoch häufig im Oberlauf von Süßwasserströmen lebt, kann die Verschlechterung des Lebensraums eine potenzielle Bedrohung für die einzelnen Populationen darstellen. |
