Typusfundort: Wyulda Creek, ca. 2 Kilometer oberhalb der Vereinigung mit dem Roe River, Western Australia, 15°34'4.89"S, 125°49'12.87"E (Karte).
Etymologie
Der Name trigonicus bedeutet auf Lateinisch Dreieck, bezogen auf das Aussehen des Unterkiefers von unten betrachtet.
Verbreitung
Kommt im gesamten Drysdale River, King Edward River und Moran River Einzugsgebiet, in der nördlichen Kimberley Region, Western Australia, vor.
