Etymologie
Die Art wird bryozophila (lateinisch: bryozoenliebend) genannt, in Anlehnung an ihre Assoziation mit Bryozoenkolonien.
Verbreitung
Östlicher Indischer Ozean: Zur Zeit nur von der Typuslokalität beaknnt: Indonesien bei Ambon, Molukken und von der Lembeh Straße, Nord-Sulawesi, sowie von Unterwasserfotos in Banda, Molukken und Alor, Kleine Sunda-Inseln.
