Etymologie
chalco-, Kupfer; -pyrus, Flamme; sich auf das obere Längsband bei den Männchen beziehend, welches in derselben grünen Farbe glüht, wie Kupfersalze beim Flammentest (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project).

Gabun.
