Etymologie
Owiyeye ist der populäre Name für Rivulus amanapira (Costa, 2004)der Tucanos-Indianer aus dem oberen Rio Negro, Brasilien. Dieser Name wurde schon von Wallace (2002) in Notizen während seine Reise zum Amazonas (1850-1852) berichtet.
