Etymologie
Nudus (= kahl oder nackt); frons (= Stirn), vorgeschlagen als Unterart von Nototheniops mizops mit schuppenlosem Hinterkopf und Interorbitalbereich sowohl bei Jungtieren als auch bei Erwachsenen. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
