Typusfundort: Shag Rocks, Insel Südgeorgien, Tiefe 160 Meter, außerhalb der Cumberland Bay, Insel Südgeorgien, Tiefe 252-310 Meter; und 1 Fundort in der Antarktis.
Etymologie
Benannt zu Ehren von Carl Anton Larsen (1860-1924), dem Chefnavigator der schwedischen Antarktis-Expedition (1901-1904), während der die Typusexemplare gesammelt wurden. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
