Holotypus: UFRJ 9277.
Typusfundort: Brasilien, Bundesstaat Roraima, Gemeinde Rorainópolis, Bach etwa 35 km westlich von Jundiá, an der Straße BR-431, rio Jauaperi-Einzugsgebiet, selbst Teil des unteren rio Negro-Einzugsgebietes, Amazonas-Becken, 0°13'45"S, 60°59'30"W.
Etymologie
Der Artname bezieht sich auf das Vorkommen im rio Jauaperi-Einzugsgebiet.
Verbreitung
Nur vom Typusfundort bekannt.
