Etymologie
Dentatus (= bezahnt), bezogen auf gut entwickelte Zähne auf beiden Seiten des Körpers (im Vergleich zu Laeops, wo die Zähne fast ausschließlich auf die blinde Seite beschränkt sind). (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
