Benannt nach dem Land der Typuslokalität.

Verbreitung

Panama: Becken der Rios Bejuco, Boquerón, Calovébora, Chagres und Lllano Succio sowie in der Kanalzone (sowohl iauf der Atlantik- als auch der Pazifikseite).
