Etymologie
Gymnos (= nackt oder ohne); auchen (= Nacken), bezieht sich auf einen schuppenlosen dreieckigen Raum, der sich vom Hinterkopf bis zum Ansatz der ersten Rückenflosse nach hinten erstreckt. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
