Etymologie
Von formosa (= lateinisch für schön), bezieht sich auf die Schwester des Autors, Laura María Ballen, für ihre bedingungslose Liebe und Unterstützung.
Verbreitung
Kolumbien: Becken des oberen Rio-Meta und Guaviare, Orinoco-Einzugsgebiet.
