Etymologie
Benannt nach John Richard Paxton für seinen Beitrag zur Erforschung von Fischen der Familie Cetomimidae.
Verbreitung
Zentralatlantik: pelagische Zone über dem MAR-Rifttal bei Horizonten von 1500–0 bzw. 2680–0 m gefangen.
