Taxonomischer Hinweis
Miller (1973: 55) schlägt vor, dass Iljin mit Buenia affinis eine neue nominelle Art, bei der Etablierung der Typusspezies von Buenia (falsch identifizierte Typusart, nicht Gobius affinis Kolombatovic, 1881) etabliert hat. Es gibt keine Beweise dafür, dass dies eine vorsätzliche Verwendung einer Fehlidentifizierung war (siehe Art. 11.5), daher wurde Buenia affinis nicht etabliert. Der Code verlangt, dass das Problem dem ICZN vorgelegt wird, um die Typusart zu etablieren, aber das wurde nicht gemacht. Eschmeyer et al. nehmen an, dass es eine gültige Spezies gibt, aber ihr Name und ihre Autorschaft sind noch nicht geklärt, aber sie kann Buenia affinis Iljin, 1930 genannt werden, bis sie richtig etabliert ist.
