Etymologie
Osteo- (= Knochen); rhynchus (= Schnauze), bezieht sich auf die knöchernen Kiefer von Ostorhinchus fleurieu, die sehr weit fortgeschritten und gezackt sind und den Platz der Zähne einnehmen. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
