Etymologie
Benannt zu Ehren von Dr. Lindsay Marshall (www.stickfigurefish.com.au (Zugriff am 10. Mai 2023)), einer wissenschaftlichen Illustratorin und Elasmobranchistin, die alle Haie und Rochen der Welt für das Tree of Life Project gezeichnet hat.
Verbreitung
Um Nordaustralien, von westlich der Exmouth Halbinsel nach Osten bis mindestens vor Bathurst Island im Northern Territory, in Tiefen von 125-229 m.
