Etymologie
Patronym nicht identifiziert, aber eindeutig zu Ehren von Paul Pappenheim (1878-1945), Kurator für Fische, Königliches Museum Berlin, der einen Zusatz zur Beschreibung verfasste, der Kreyenbergs Unsicherheit bezüglich der familiären Einordnung der Gattung widerspiegelt.
Verbreitung
Nordchina (Provinz Hebei) und Russland.
