Etymologie
Benannt zu Ehren von Bo Fernholm (* 1941), Schwedisches Naturkundemuseum, für seine Beiträge zur Schleimfischbiologie.
Verbreitung
Nordwestlicher Pazifik: Taiwan.
IUCN Status
VU Vulnerable (gefährdet) Mögliche Gefahren für diese Art: Dieser Art wird nicht gezielt nachgestellt, aber es ist eine große Art und daher potenziell fischbar. Der relativ schlanke Schleimaal ist ein regelmäßiger Beifang beim Schleppnetzfischen und in Fischfallen. Diese Art kommt häufig auf dem Tungkang-Markt vor. Darüber hinaus wird ihr Lebensraum wahrscheinlich durch umfangreiche Grundschleppnetzaktivitäten beeinträchtigt. |
