Etymologie
Der Name der Art spiegelt ihr wichtigstes diagnostisches Merkmal wider - die unpigmentierte innere Ecke der Beckenflossen bei Jungtieren (von lateinisch clarus (= klar) und angulus (= Ecke)).
Verbreitung
Westpazifik: Sulu-, Celebes- und Kamotes-Meer, Davao-Golf und Karolinen-Inseln.
