Lectotypus: PIN 1350/12 fragmentarisches Cv1, abgebildet bei Rohon (1900: fig. 19).
Typusfundort und Schicht: Aufstieg am Ufer des Flusses Izhma, gegenüber Sosnogorsk, Süd-Timan, Komi-Republik, Russland. Sosnogorsk-Formation, Volgograd-Regionale Stufe, unteres Famennium, Oberdevon.
