Etymologie

Papillaris (= Genitiv Singular von Papille, Nippel), bezieht sich auf die charakteristische kleine Papille auf der Oberseite des Auges. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)

Östlicher Indischer Ozean, westlicher Pazifik: Myanmar; Vietnam östlich bis Taiwan; Westaustralien und Northern Territory (Australien).
