Etymologie

Das spezifisches Epitheton wird aus den griechischen Wörtern απλός / haploos (= einfach) und βλέφαρο / blepharis (= Augenlid) gebildet und wird bestimmt durch die unverzweigte Struktur des oberer Vorsprungs der Iris.

Verbreitung

Bisher nur vom Holotypus bekannt.
