Typusfundort: Vor Iloilo, Panay Island, Philippinen, ca 10°41’N, 122°35’E (Karte).
Etymologie
Abgeleitet vom lateinischen solis ortus für Sonnenaufgang, in Bezug auf die glänzenden, gelb eingefassten, roten Flecken an den Seiten des Körpers.
Verbreitung
Nur von vor Iloilo bekannt, Panay Island, Philippinen, ca. 10°41'N, 122°35'E. Es liegen keine Daten über den Lebensraum oder die Fangtiefe vor, aber angesichts der auffallenden, einzigartigen Färbung und des Mangels an früheren Berichten, ist die Art wahrscheinlich relativ selten und besetzt mindestens mäßig tiefe Lebensräume.
