Etymologie
Vespertina (= lat. für westlich), ein ostpazifischer Verwandter des westatlantischen Sphyrna tiburo. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
Verbreitung
Ostpazifik: Südkalifornien (USA) südlich bis Paita (Nordperu), einschließlich Golf von Kalifornien (Mexiko).
