Parvus (= klein), erreicht bekanntermaßen nicht 120 mm SL. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
Verbreitung
Westatlantik: nördlicher und westlicher Golf von Mexiko, vom nordwestlichen Florida in den USA bis Campeche in Mexiko.
IUCN Status
Status: Stand 26.08.2023:LC Least Concern (nicht gefährdet)
Gefahren für diese Art: Sphoeroides parvus wird häufig als Beifang in Garnelenschleppnetzen aufgenommen. Es gibt jedoch keine dokumentierten Auswirkungen auf die Population.
