Etymologie
Stenos (= schmal); ostio (= Ablativ von ostium = einer Otolithenstruktur), bezogen auf das im Vergleich zu Spectrunculus grandis schmalere Ostium im Verhältnis zur Länge oder zur Sulkuslänge. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
