Etymologie
Das lokale slawische Wort letnica bedeutet „Sommerfisch“, da er hauptsächlich im Sommer gefangen wird, im Vergleich zu Salmo dentex, der „zimnica“, der hauptsächlich im Winter gefangen wird. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
Verbreitung
Mazedonien: Ohridsee; ausgesetzt in verschiedenen Gewässern der USA (Minnesota, Tennessee, Colorado).

Status: Stand 20.07.2021: DD Data Deficient (ungenügende Datengrundlage)
