Typusfundort: Tenasserim-Provinzen, Myanmar.
Etymologie
Benannt zu Ehren des verstorbenen Major Hugh Thomas Berdmore (geb. 1859), Madras Artillerie, Assistent des Commissioners und Verantwortlicher des Forstamtes, der die Typusexemplare gesammelt oder zur Verfügung gestellt hat.
Verbreitung
Myanmar und möglicherweise Westthailand; Indien.
IUCN Status
Status: Stand 16.10.2018:LC Least Concern (nicht gefährdet)
Grund für die Gefährdungseinstufung: P. berdmorei lebt in einem gebirgigen und dünn besiedelten Gebiet, in dem keine Gefahren für die Art bekannt sind.
