Status: Stand 25.01.2018: LC Least Concern (nicht gefährdet)
Grund für die Gefährdungseinstufung: Die größte Bedrohung für die Art ist die Wasserverschmutzung. Dürren, die durch Wasserentnahmen verursacht sind und durch den Klimawandel sind auch eine Bedrohung für die Art.
