Bezieht sich auf das Zierband um den Schwanzstiel.
Verbreitung
Indien: Lokchao River in Manipur und Brahmaputra-Einzug in Assam.
IUCN Status
Status: Stand 19.02.2019:VU Vulnerable (gefährdet)
Grund für die Gefährdungseinstufung: Keine Information verfügbar. Allerdings hat der Lokchao-Fluss, die Typuslokalität der Art, mehrere Störungen aufgrund anthropogener Aktivitäten. Der Fluss fließt in der Nähe der Stadt Moreh, die ein aktives Zentrum für den internationalen Handel zwischen Indien und Myanmar ist. Die Stadt wird erweitert und der Fluss ist stark gefährdet.
