Etymologie
Benannt zu Ehren von Theophilus Chatzimichael (1873-1934), einem bekannten Volksmaler von der Insel Lesbos, Griechenland, wo die Typuslokalität liegt.
Verbreitung
Insel Lesbos, Griechenland, und Einzug des Bakir Rivers, Westanatolien, Türkei.
IUCN Status
Status: Stand 15.6.2022:LC Least Concern (nicht gefährdet)
Gefahren für diese Art: Wasserentnahme. Auch der Klimawandel stellt eine Bedrohung dar, da die Schwere der Dürreperioden voraussichtlich zunehmen wird.
