Etymologie
Von lateralis (von der Seite); maculatus (= gefleckt), bezieht sich auf kleine, verstreute, dunkle Flecken auf der dorsolateralen Oberfläche und / oder 16-20 Flecken unterhalb der seitlichen Mittellinie. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
