Rotes Meer; Indo-Westpazifik: Ostafrika, Sokotra, Seychellen, Madagaskar, Maskarenen und Persischer Golf östlich der Inseln Hawaii und Marquesas, nördlich bis Südkorea und Südjapan, südlich bis Westaustralien und zu den Norfolk Inseln.
