Etymologie
Ruhuna ist das singhalesische Wort für Süd-Sri Lanka, wo diese "Art" vorkommt. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
Verbreitung
Sri Lanka: Becken der Flüsse Bentara, Nilwala, Gin, Pol-Athu Modara, in Regenwaldflüssen.
