Typusfundort: Brasilien, Bundesstaat Para, Sumpf nahe Primavera.
Etymologie
Der Artname campelloi, zu Ehren von Dr. Gilberto Campello Brasil, drückt die Anerkennung seines unablässigen Enthusiasmus beim Sammeln von Rivuliden aus.
