Etymologie
Benannt nach dem peruanischen Bezirk Megantoni, von Cusco, wo die Typenserie gesammelt wurde.
Verbreitung
Peru: Einzugsgebiet des Río Quispe, ein Nebenfluss des oberen Rio Urubam, und im Bach Lazano, ein Nebenfluss des Rio Mishahua, Rio Ucayali.
