Etymologie
Von tri- (= drei); fasciatus (= gebändert), bezieht sich auf 3-4 Bänder auf den Seiten von Jungfischen, 3-4 Streifen auf den Seiten von Erwachsenen. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
