Typusfundort: río Juradó, Kolumbien.
Etymologie
Aus dem Griechischen leukos, weiß, und oura, Rand, sich auf den weißen Rand auf der hinteren Caudale bei männlichen Tieren beziehend.
Verbreitung
Zuflüsse in den Pazifik im nördlichen Kolumbien.
