Etymologie
Von radiatus (= strahlenförmig), wahrscheinlich bezogen auf radiale Schuppenstrahlen (Peters erwähnte dieses Merkmal in seiner kurzen Originalbeschreibung nicht, sondern erwähnte und illustrierte es in einer erweiterten Beschreibung, die 1868 veröffentlicht wurde).
