Etymologie
Benannt nach Mohammad Zakaria-Ismail in Anerkennung seiner Arbeit über die Fischfauna Malaysias.
Verbreitung
Halbinsel Malaysia: in Nebenflüssen des Sungai Jelai des Pahang-Einzugsgebietes im Nordwesten des Bundesstaates Pahang.
