Etymologie
Balitora ist ein lokales gangetisches Wort, das "Sandgräber" bedeutet und sich auf das Leben, normalerweise in Bodennähe, zwischen Steinen, in schnell fließenden Gebirgsbächen oder in Flüssen mit reinem Sandboden bezieht. (Übersetzt aus: The ETYFish Project)
