dem Stadtgebiet, Kolumbien.
Etymologie
Dahl benannte diese Art zu Ehren von Dr. George Sprague Myers, einem bedeutenden Ichthyologen von der Stanford University.
Verbreitung
Diese Art ist aus den Savannen der unteren Río Magdalena-Überschwemmungsgebiete zwischen Cartagena und Barranquilla, Kolumbien, bekannt. Seine Verbreitung erstreckt sich im Landesinneren das Río Magdalena-Tal hinauf, die Verbreitung ist jedoch ungenügend bekannt.
