Verbreitung
Nordostatlantik: Zwei Exemplare waren aus dem Gebiet bekannt, eines von 44°29'N, 13°32'W (Karte) und das andere von 39°11'N, 30°44'W (Karte), dieses Exemplar ist jedoch eine andere Art, die inzwischen als Barathronus roulei beschrieben ist.

Status: Stand 8.10.2019: DD Data Deficient (ungenügende Datengrundlage)
Gefahren für diese Art: Derzeit sind keine artspezifischen Bedrohungen für B. parfaiti bekannt. Bei dieser Art handelt es sich um eine Tiefsee-Art, bei der die anthropogenen Einflüsse derzeit als gering eingeschätzt werden. In diesen Tiefsee-Ökosystemen besteht jedoch die Gefahr, dass sie sich verschlechtern, hauptsächlich durch das Einbringen fester Abfälle, die biologische Ernte und die Gewinnung von Mineralien sowie durch den Klimawandel (z.B. durch globale und regionale Tiefseezirkulationen und Nährstoffschichtung in der Wassersäule), die sich alle erheblich auf die Biota der Tiefsee auswirken werden.
