Holotypus: UALVP 47133; kompletter, zerbrochener Fisch.
Typusfundort und Schicht: Nordwestlicher Rand des Kem-Kem-Plateaus bei Agoult, südöstliches Marokko. Wahrscheinlich früh Turonisch, möglicherweise spät Cenomanium.
Etymologie
Das Art-Epitheton ehrt Dr. Brian D. E. Chatterton.
