Typusfundort und -schicht: Waco Pit, Ostufer des Waco-Sees, Zentral-Texas, USA; Del Rio Formation, untere cenomanische Stufe.
Etymologie
Dentes (= Zähne); passim (= unordentlich angeordnet); spielt auf eine lockere und unordentliche Anordnung der Zähne am preartikulären Knochen an.
Verbreitung
Späte Kreidezeit (Cenomanium): Texas.
