Etymologie
Benannt zu Ehren von Prof. Dr. Brigitte Senut, Paris (Frankreich), für ihre engagierte Forschung auf dem Gebiet der menschlichen Evolution und Paläoanthropologie auf dem afrikanischen Kontinent und für ihre kontinuierliche freundliche Unterstützung des Forschungsprojekts der Autoren.
