Etymologie
Benannt zu Ehren des im Januar 2020 verstorbenen Armin Pallaoro, einem Ichthyologen des Instituts für Ozeanographie und Fischerei in Split, Kroatien.
Verbreitung
Mittelmeer: südliche Adria, nördliches Ionisches Meer und nördliche und westliche Ägäis.
